Celebration of Life

Starts at 1:00 pm (Eastern time)
Age 54, of Claymont, Delaware passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 14, 2026.
He was born May 17, 1971 to the late Joan Adele Clements and raised in Claymont, Delaware. As a teen, Michael loved to have fun and hang with his friends. He worked at a few different places, including Always the Garden. Michael then went to Del-Tech Community College to get certified to work at Citisteel, which then became Claymont Steel, then finally Evraz Steel. He worked there for over 15 years before the plant shut down in 2013. Michael was a very hard worker earning several awards. He loved music - going to concerts. Michael also loved fishing, camping, and gardening. He loved all his dogs and all Philly sports, especially the the Flyers and the Eagles. Michael always hosted family gatherings. Even though he was the youngest sibling/family member, he was the patriarch of the family. Michael took care of everyone. He was a family man and had an open door, where he let everyone and anyone in. Michael always had food and something going on at his house. You could show up whenever and he'd be ready to party or help, whatever you needed. Michael was always happy and positive. He was the life of the party and could light up the room. Michael will be dearly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life 1:00 pm, February 8, 2026 at the Knights of Columbus Club, 135 Princeton Avenue, Claymont, DE 19703. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Faithful Friends Animal Society (www.faithfulfriends.us) or Renee's Rescues (www.reneerescues.org).
