Daniel A Bradley Sr. passed away on April 11, 2026 peacefully in the loving arms of his wife at home.
Born June 23, 1953 in Wilmington, DE, Dan was the beloved son of the late John D. Bradley and Mary Elizabeth Bradley. Dan was self-employed and owned Bradley & Sons Custom Painting. He enjoyed the beach, watching the sunrise and sunset, boating, fishing, hunting, bowling, and spending time with his family. Dan took great pride in teaching the grandchildren how to fish and crab. He loved sharing knowledge and telling jokes, reading farside jokes, and listening to Bob Dylan and other classic rock artists. Dan was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.
Dan is survived by his loving family including his wife of 30 years, Elizabeth Bradley (nee Gentieu); his sons, Daniel (Kelly) and Matthew (Hannah); stepson, Ted Womer (Tara); and stepdaughter, Emily Womer. He is also survived by the following grandchildren: Eric Bradley, Nevina Bradley, Brennan Bradley, Scarlett Bradley, Makenna Bradley, Emersyn Bradley, Henry Bradley, and Nathon Womer. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Bradley. Dan is survived by his sisters, Caroline Bradley, Margie White (Harry), and Mary Skibicki (Chris); his sister-in-law, Sandy Bradley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, May 16, 2026 at The Marshallton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
